Hey y’all, just got back from Glastonbury, our set on the Pyramid Stage went down a storm (haha, one day! Well, probably, well, possibly, well, anyway!). Seen some great acts, rubbed shoulders with a few A-listers and a few more D-Listers, got pissed, sweat like a fat lass in a chip shop and came back looking like Worzel Gummidge, feeling like Shaun Ryder and smelling like Johnny Deckers undercrackers!
Anyway, the creative juices are flowing and work on a the EP is underway! The website is still under construction, in the meantime please keep checking back on these daft blogs, myspace and twitter etc. Gig details and life stories to follow!
Cheers, Fender x
Hello all,
I am doing a blog because I’ve been told to by my form tutor. Last Friday night I did a gig at Porters Coffee House on Tynemouth Station with two thirds of my band and support from my wonderfully talented friend Andrea Glass. She is geet almost famous and that. We all had a nice night, drank some beers and ate some food. I then went home and had Stella and crumpets and watched Doctor Who on catch up TV, then I went to bed and went to sleep.
This next week I will be mostly scratching my balls and dreaming of a world where everyone is buying my music and Harvey Goldsmith is on my speed dial. A world where loose supermodels want to have meaningless sex with me in posh hotel rooms and I don’t have to answer to anyone because quite frankly I will more or less be a god in the eyes of a robot nation!
See you all at my next gig at the Magnesia Bank where I will be talking more of this dumbfounded delusional bullshit and singing my songs with my soul on show and my head up my arse!
Love and Peace, Liam x

What this months Informer Magazine had to say about it:
After a two year hiatus, Tyneside troubadour Liam Fender is back with his live band for a special gig at the Trojan Rooms in Whitley Bay on the 21st of May. ‘The Filth’ (aka. Liam Fender Band) were last seen performing in and around the area in the run up to Fenders 2008 release ‘Dirty Angels’. Two years on and a few jars later, Liam and the boys are back and sounding bigger than ever.
The gig will debut new material by Fender to be digitally released this summer as well as some new arrangements of past works. The bands mix of grungy rock and folk tinged anthems together with Fenders signature observational lyrics always provide great listening and explosive live performance.
Joining the band on the night is special guest Johnny ‘Blue Hat’ Davis of local rockers ‘The Kush’ on Saxophone and support comes from the equally talented Tony Bengtsson and J. D. O’Neill. All artists on the night will also be paying tribute to road manager and great friend Colin ‘Dr. Spoot’ James who sadly passed away last month!
Guaranteed to be a humdinger of a night!
